ERR 50: Please import your datafile from a location with directory names less than or equal to eight characters...
This will occur if you attempt to import from a Trackbase datafile which contains a directory name of longer than eight characters. For example, saving the tbii.zip file to your desktop will cause problems because the path will be something like "C:\Documents and Settings\My Name\Desktop\tbii.zip"
We suggest you save the Trackbase datafile to "Local Disk (C:)" or c:\ for simplicity.
If your IT policy prevent you from creating a file in the root of your C drive, you may like to ask your IT team to create a folder something like 'abidata' in which you could save the data for importing.
