SQLSTATE = 23000 [Sybase][ODBC Driver] Integrity constraint violation: primary key for table...

This can occur whilst entering information, if Trackbase is not configured correctly. For example if the the Trackbase database is moved from one machine to another without the ini file. This error is nothing to worry about.

To correct the problem, return to the main menu of Trackbase, select "Data Manager" (a pull-down menu) and select "Reset Sequence Numbers...". When asked "Are you sure you wish to reset sequence numbers?", click "Yes". This may take a few minutes, depending on the number of projects and companies in your database.

If this does not correct the problem and you are running a network version of Trackbase, please ensure each machine running Trackbase is set up with a different "Userid". This can be found by clicking "Data Manager" on the main menu and selecting "Registration Details...". You will then need to run the "Reset sequence number" on each machine that has the error message.

It is only necessary to run the reset sequence number procedure once to correct this problem.
