Exporting data to Excel

The mailmerge facility is the best tool for extracting data ready for Microsoft Excel.

If you require a list of companies without any associated project information, we recommend you perform the mailmerge from the company screen. This will produce one record / row per company. If you require information about the projects each company is working on, the mailmerge needs to be performed from the project screen. The companies will then be repeated for each project they are working on.

The mailmerge procedure is described within the helpsheet section, although towards the end of the procedure the extension of the filename should be changed from .doc to .csv in "Destination" box.
