Moving Trackbase to another PC
Install Trackbase on your new/replacement PC.
All your data is stored in the file tb.db, which by default is located in c:\tbpro for Trackbase Pro, c:\tblite for Trackbase Lite or c:\tbii for older installations. If you are unsure of the location of your database file, click here for further assistance. Copy the tb.db file from your old machine to your new machine and replace the file that exists on the new machine (less than 1.5MB). The tb.db file you are transferring is likely to be large, so you may like use a CD, USB memory key or network drive to transfer the file.
Many of your configurations, such as labels for text user fields, are stored in an ini file which by default will be located in your windows folder. The ini file is called trackb2.ini for Trackbase Pro and ptvr.ini for Trackbase Lite.
Please check you are satisfied with your new installation and all your projects are transferred before removing Trackbase from the old machine.
