Step-by-Step Guide

Logging in first time
- Receive your Welcome email from the system
- Follow the change password link
- Change your password (minimum 6 letters including 1 number)
- In future just use the login link contained in the Welcome email

Using the Analytics service
- Click Analytics from the left hand menu
- Choose either Project or Company Analytics, you will arrive at the screen to the right
- This example will explain how to create a chart comparing Residential projects in different regions, using Project Analytics
Key Steps to Create a New Chart
- Save up to three new/changed profiles for each comparison you need
- Select the profiles you want to plot from below the chart
- Choose the parameters for the graph from the right hand of the page
- Click “Update Chart” and wait a few seconds

Step-by-Step : Changing/New Profiles
- Click Start Here or Edit a Profile to reach the Edit Profile screen
- Enter a new name for the profile to be created e.g. North West
- Then click Save As, a new profile is created called North West
- The categories that can be changed in the profile are shown in tabs above the Edit Profile pages
- Clicking each tab reveals a single or multiple categories that can be selected using the trees shown. Some allow to/from ranges to be entered as well.
- For each category tick the boxes you want to include in the profile. In this example choose counties in the North West from the Project Location tab, expand the tree menu to reach the counties
- Then move to the Category/Sector tab and tick Residential and Care Residential boxes in the tree.
- At any time click the Refresh Count button to recheck the number of projects in your profile
- When you are happy with your profile, click any of the Save buttons
- Repeat to create other profiles for other areas of the country, that include only residential projects. You can copy previous profiles by ticking the “Copy of” box

Step-by-Step : Create the Chart
- Return to the main Project Analytics page
- Choose each of the profiles to be plotted from the three drop-down boxes (in this case North West, South West, London) below the chart
- Change parameters for the chart depending on the dates/range required and the measure for the projects. Application date provides the best overall coverage and is defaulted in the system.
- Click Update Chart, the chart is generated after a few seconds
- Save the chart by entering a name and click the Save Chart As button
- By saving the chart you can retrieve it in future. Make sure you keep your profiles the same for a save chart as the chart will reflect any changes you make to these.
